Being a Chief Association Executive may serve as the spokesperson for and represent the association. May preside over board of directors/trustees. Additionally, Chief Association Executive may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a board of directors. Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. Defines corporate vision and strategy establishes company direction and focus. Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide Executive Administrative support to the Chief of Police.
- Perform highly responsible, legally protected, sensitive, confidential, specialized, and technical office support activities.
- Serve as liaison between Chief of Police, Assistant Chief and Staff.
- Explain rules policies and operations related to the department records program.
- Serve as a Chairperson over the Traffic Appeals Committee.
- Perform Miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Five (5) years of full-time administrative secretarial experience showing increasing responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in business or other related field; Public Safety Experience.
- Typing with accurate speed; diverse computer application skills, strong communication skills required.
- Commitment to diversity and the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with the diverse constituencies of a campus community.
- Able to rapidly prioritize and execute multiple task.
