Works with the Board of Directors to ensure all activities support the focus of the organization, including the development, promotion, and operations of the organization. Being a Chief Association Executive may serve as the spokesperson for and represent the association. May preside over board of directors/trustees. Additionally, Chief Association Executive may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a board of directors. REALTOR® Association seeks Association Executive in downtown Monroe. The AE is responsible for the administration and management of the association, based on member needs and direction given by the Board of Directors. The AE manages the organization within parameters set by the volunteers and based on volunteers’ determination of the future direction of the organization.
Applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Google Docs, basic accounting and basic website maintenance. Business communication skills (verbal and written), willingness to learn and multitask with minimal supervision, event planning, volunteer organization, marketing skills, and community involvement needed. Travel to state and national meetings required as well as occasional evening and weekend hours. Association management/non-profit experience a plus. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
