The job of the Chief Academic Officer was established for the purpose/s of leading the delivery of academic programs with specific responsibility for directing curriculum, instruction, professional development, ESL, special populations, extended and summer school learning, instructional coaches, gifted and talented, and diagnosticians/psychologists. The position will serve as a resource to others and and achieve defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing, and maintaining services in compliance with federal, state, and local policies and guidelines.
This is a 12-month position and the requirements of this position include a Master's degree, TN administrator's license, 3 year's experience in an administrative role, 3 year's experience as a teacher, demonstrated organizational skills, effective decision-making as well as verbal and written communication skills.
