    • At the GS-09, you will perform developmental duties as assigned.
    • At the Full Performance Level, you will perform the following duties:
    • You will manage administrative functions such as official mail and distribution, preparation and handling of routine correspondence and recurring reports, handling of phone calls and visitors, and the preparation of briefings and formal meetings.
    • You will assist the Director in developing administration goals and objectives for the organization.
    • You will prepare and implement the annual operating budget, to include appropriated and non-appropriated funds, operation maintenance funds, special requests for funds, pay, procurement of supplies, travel, training, etc.
    • You will use qualitative and quantitative techniques to measure productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of contracts within the organization.
    • You will provide guidance to employees regarding various training policies/requirements as well as courses available.

    Qualifications

    GS-09:
    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing a variety of administrative support services. Specialized experience includes some or all of the following: 1) Analyzing administrative programs, management methods, and procedures to aid in recommending improvements; 2) Implementing an annual operating budget, including handling purchase card program; 3) Assisting in developing, implementing, or monitoring contracts; 4) Utilizing office automation applications, including Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), to prepare and compose various documents and reports, including routine correspondence; and 5) Communicating effectively both orally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders of various levels.
