    Cheshire Medical Center is seeking an innovative leader who will be responsible for the overall financial management of the hospital while also working alongside other Dartmouth Health system leaders.     About the job:

    The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership team at Cheshire Medical Center. Primary functions include the development and implementation of financial strategic plans and goals as well as financial forecasting, analysis, and decision-making support related to business performance measurements. The CFO provides analyses of performance versus operating budgets and presents overall financial results to drive future decisions. The successful leader will address government regulations to ensure compliance and adherence to GAAP and industry standards while continuously monitoring and mitigating financial risk. The CFO should devote themselves to fostering teamwork, partnership, and collaboration among management and staff at all levels as well as with external contractors and subcontractors.

     

    This high-visibility position requires that the CFO effectively manage change and capably implement new courses of action.

     

    Minimum qualifications:

    Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field. Master’s level education is strongly preferred.

     

    Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years in finance and a minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a hospital setting.

     

    Experience in a non-profit, community hospital environment as well as within a complex, matrixed health system is preferred.
