Associate Chemist : W2 : direct client (FMCG DOMAIN) : St. Louis, MO 63102 (ONSITE)
Associate Chemist must possess a good understanding of basic chemical principles that serve as the foundation of food and feed analysis.
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting procedures as outlined in operating procedures and instrument control plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts documented routine procedures as required with little to no supervision
Ability to perform and manage several tests efficiently, accurately, and independently
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, proactive planning, and ability to organize and carry out tasks with quality in a timely fashion
Maintains required test records and quality control documents
Accurately process, report, and approve data
Prepares reagents and standards and maintains documentation as required
Conducts documented non-routine procedures as required
Reviews results, service time, and special requirements with clients as needed
Maintain laboratory space, equipment, and inventory in an appropriate and professional manner
Responds to direction as provided and follows established maintenance of notebook records and documentation standards.
