Chemist evaluates the chemical and physical properties of various organic and inorganic substances. Utilizes established methods and procedures and laboratory equipment to perform analytical testing of substances. Being a Chemist prepares compounds, reagents and solutions. Develop and write technical reports of testing results. Additionally, Chemist requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.   • Description:
    • 25-35 pay depending on expeirence.
    • 6 month assignment, highly likely to extend or convert based on performance.
    • Various shifts available - This specific role is Wed-Sat 6am-4:30pm
    • Responsible for in-process QC testing of manufacturing material as it relates to qualifications, quality inspections and titration.
    • Maintains quality systems and proper GMP/GLP

    • Creates and follows protocols designed around product improvement

    • Responsible for making critical and non-critical bioreagents for use in product and manufacturing processes using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    • Works in a team setting and coordinates manufacturing efforts based upon a set production schedule and maintaining the raw bioreagent supply as needed to support this schedule.

    Qualifications:
    • BS in Chemistry, or related field OR AS with 1-2 years expeirence.
    • Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques including pH testing and titrations.
    • Expeience with pipettes, HPLC, Spectroscopy, Gel Electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE and ELISA strongly preferred but not required.
