Duration: 6 months
The Quantitative, Translational and ADME Sciences Department in North Chicago, IL is seeking a highly motivated teammate to operate in an LCMS-based quantitative bioanalytical role and support research and development projects.
The successful candidate will be in a fast paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision once trained. The candidate will be responsible for quantitative LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of small molecules, data analysis and interpretation, and documentation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform quantitative LC-MS/MS of small molecules from in-vitro and in-vivo bio-matrices to support ADME and PK/PD studies.
* Operate and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS instrumentation and perform routine maintenance of LC-MS/MS equipment.
* Work closely with multiple teams to support bioanalyses.
* Maintain excellent documentation of all work including electronic lab notebooks, methods, and protocols.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent education), with typically 0-5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with no additional experience.
* Experience with quantitative bioanalysis of small molecules.
* Hands-on experience with one or more current LC-MS/MS platforms (e.g., Sciex Triple Quads, Agilent HPLCs, Shimadzu HPLCs, LEAP autosamplers, ADDA) and software (e.g., Analyst, Discovery Quant, Leadscape, Electronic Laboratory Notebook).
* Familiarity with automated sample preparation platforms.
* A good understanding of analytical methods for small molecule quantification.
* Ability to work independently or under minimal supervision to conduct experiments, as well as interpret, document, and communicate results.
* Ability to balance generating high quality data within the limitations of a high-throughput environment.
* Ability to work effectively with teammates in a dynamic environment, and the ability to self-motivate, multitask, meet frequent tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
