Responsibilities
SUMMARY
Production duties include the manufacture of NOVA Gel, QUANTA Lite and QUANTA Flash antigens according to established procedures.
Major manufacturing duties include participation in the purification of ELISA and Bioflash antigens for autoimmune diagnostic products and the production of antibodies and conjugation of antibodies.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or (B.S.) in the biological or related sciences with 0-1 years of applicable laboratory experience.
In some instances, exceptions to the years of experience can be made based on management discretion. Relevant work experience may be substituted for a degree.
Good laboratory skills and knowledge of biological and chemical laboratory procedures. Ability to operate basic laboratory equipment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, device history records, scientific journal articles and SOPs.
Ability to write reports and correspondence, SOPs, complete manufacturing documentation and maintain laboratory notebook entries.
Ability to speak effectively with co workers or other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to calculate concentrations, dilutions, proportions, percentages and common laboratory equations. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to use the metric system.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only some standardization exists.
