Job Responsibilities

• 1st Shift 5:30am-3:30pm Monday through Thursday. (If overtime is needed it will be worked Fridays)
• Drain, clean, and recharge designated machines according to standards set by management.
• Follow all safety protocol and SOPs outlined by management and safety team
• Fill secondary containers, such as 5 gallon pails and 55-gallon drums, to transport fluids to appropriate locations
• Perform filter changes on designated fluid systems in a safe and timely manner
• Perform daily concentration checks on designated fluid systems
• Dispose of used chemicals and filters to appropriate locations outlined by EHS management
• Perform audits after every D/C/R and filter change completed to ensure asset functionality and safe-for-use standards
• Keep chemical handling tooling and related materials in a safe and workable condition
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all working areas including but not limited to the chemical storage area(s), drain/clean/recharge areas, mop stations, and drain locations
• Daily replacement of empty chemical drums in process locations with full drums
• Perform 5S and various maintenance tasks in the chemical storage areas
• Respond to radio calls to troubleshoot chemical related issues
• Organize chemical inventory

Experience/Skills/Education

The prime candidate for this position will have:

• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Constant safety awareness
• Chemical handling experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures/protocols and take instruction
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced/physically demanding environment
• Exceptional communication skills
