Additionally, Chemical Plant Operator enters required production data and information into logs. May unload or move materials. Under close supervision, responsible for learning and performing a variety of duties designed to give training and experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of the water and wastewater treatment systems.
We operate 24/7, this position requires shift work, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Include operation, maintenance, and repair of the water and wastewater treatment systems; Monitoring equipment, collecting samples, adjusting chemical feed rates, and taking readings from charts, meters, and gauges.
Qualifications
Include H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent a valid drivers license, the ability to maintain Federal Security Clearance, to communicate orally and in writing and to work as a member of a team. Technical training in biology, environmental science, chemistry or closely related fields helpful, but not necessary.
