Refining Technician

Advanced Chemical Co.

Mission:

To work closely with the Refining Supervisor in order to meet the expectations of daily, weekly and quarterly goals set forth by customer needs throughout multiple functions of the refining process.

This individual should be able to work independently, have a strong work ethic and be willing to learn different areas of precious metal refining in incineration, ball mill, strip tanks, bead blasting and blending.
This candidate should be good with numbers. A clear communicator and self directed AND OR some experience in the recycling industry
Qualification Must Haves:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (drum handler, 50-lb bags)
• Reliable Transportation
• Comfortable working in an environment with hazardous materials.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work closely with customers and build strong professional working relationships.
• Clear penmanship
• Strong math skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Clear BCI

Qualification Nice to Haves:

• Forklift experience
• Refining or MFG Environment Experience
• Familiarity with various equipment such as; mixers, blenders, Incinerators or melters.

(Advanced Chemical Company will train in all areas, experience is NOT necessary)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour
