The successful candidate will be responsible for performing material quality control testing, material sampling, sample retention, instrument calibration and maintenance, document control, and method development/validation.

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry that includes classroom and laboratory courses in general and analytical chemistry, knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Previous experience in a research or analytical chemistry lab is required. May substitute experience for education. Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office software, pH meters, automatic titrator, densitometer, and liquid particle counters. Previous ICP-MS experience is required, experience with Agilent ICP-MS is preferred. Columbus Chemical Industries, Inc. will provide all equipment and tools.
