    Job Duties & Responsibilities

    In this role, you will report directly to the VP of R&D working with other scientists to make a lasting, positive impact on our ecosystem for the health and well-being of people and animals.

    • Support insecticide, herbicide, repellency, and other non-agricultural development projects
    • Prepare and improve formulations used in efficacy screening based on test results
    • Collect and summarize data and deliver results as oral or written reports as required
    • Assist in the maintenance, method development, and rearing of select insect species
    • Perform other duties as assigned by HR and Plant personnel when needed

    Skills & Qualifications

    • 1 year of laboratory experience including chromatography (GC, GC-MS)
    • Basic laboratory skills including the ability to accurately weigh, measure, and follow mixing instructions
    • Basic understanding of different statistical methods to analyze data
    • High affinity for biological and chemical sciences
    • Ability and motivation to learn new techniques
    • Willingness and ability to work with a wide variety of insects and plants
    • Self-motivated to take projects through to successful products
    • Familiarity with the metric system and dilutions is required
    • Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
    • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills; High attention to detail
    • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check

    Education Requirements

    • B.S. / Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field (with laboratory experience)
