Chemical Dependency Director directs chemical dependency and substance abuse treatment and recovery programs. Leads, supports, and develops care team members. Being a Chemical Dependency Director oversees services from intake through discharge for continuity and quality of client care. Prioritizes client safety and directs crisis management. Additionally, Chemical Dependency Director develops and administers approved standards and guidelines, ensures all licensing and accreditation requirements are maintained. Establishes and administers recordkeeping and reporting processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Typically reports to a director. The Chemical Dependency Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Duties and Responsibilities - Opportunities to work hands-on at airports, industrial manufacturing, and service stations. Will be using pipe threading equipment, skidsteers, concrete tools and equipment, welder, acetylene torch, air compressor, jack hammer, and small tools. Skills may include: Welding skills helpful (MIG, TIG, stick.) Fabrication. Drawing Interpretation. Systems Schematics. Pipe Fitter. Software manipulation. Electronic service.
Minimum Requirements of Employees - High school diploma/GED, Class D - Regular (Auto, Light truck, Moped) License, 18 years or older, and basic construction background - we will train further. Must have a clean driving record for 3 years or more, be able to drive a manual (standard) transmission vehicle, and have a valid and unrestricted driver's license. In the future, a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle license may be required (if not already obtained.)
