Iatric Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Night Shift Chem Mix Technician to join our team in Morristown, TN.

POSITION SUMMARY :

Chem Mix Technicians are responsible for the coordination and batching of solutions for use in Iatric production. This position will balance the needs of the work centers by identifying priorities and making decisions based on production needs.

In addition, the technician will provide support for cleaning and sanitizing all equipment used in batch processing.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Making batches through the Automated Batching System (ABS) and Sanitization System
• Chemical Inventory using Kanban system
• Completing monthly, weekly and quarterly task lists
• Forklift driving
• Investigating and completing Nonconformances
• Investigating and completing CAPAs
• Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting
• Providing support in elaborating Procedures base in Chem Mix processes
• Reviewing daily equipment performance such as USP Skid, CIP / SIP, Batching, etc. document the readings and data in logbook
• Responsible for supporting the validation processes for Batching, Cleaning and sanitization, COP tank, recipe validation for Batching, product development, etc.
• Maintaining cGMP expectations of cleaning, blending and supporting any related manufacturing process to Chem Mix
• Cross Training flexibility in different processes within the facility
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment by being able to act promptly and decisively in the designated tasks

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• Associate’s degree in a natural science (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry) preferred; at least two years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• At least two years working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Above average knowledge of computer functions and logic
• Ability to interpret lab equipment results
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance and minors repairs to equipment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Motivation for continuous learning
• Ability to openly embrace change

COMPENSATION :

• Pay range $21.00- $24.00 depending on Experience.
• Shift premium of $1.00 for Night Shift
• Overtime available

SCHEDULE :

• Night Shift (C Shift) from 7 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am.
• This is a 12 Hour Shift on a 2-2-3 Schedule (Enjoy 3 to 4 days off each week!)

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to read, write, calculate and analyze
• Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color recognition.
• Ability to stand and walk during 12-hours shifts with regular breaks
• Occasional bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing / pulling and reaching
• Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive arm / hand movement

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

• 95% of work will be performed indoors
• Chemical hazards, exposure to fumes, odors
• Although the facility is climate-controlled, the temperature will fluctuate slightly with changes in the seasons.
• Hearing protection may be required in designated areas of the facility
