STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Fixture Check Specialist to join the team. This position involves positioning manufactured pieces into pre-fabricated molds to ensure proper angle and fit based on customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Catalogs and retrieves special mylar and or fixture tooling.
• Lifts, positions, and removes work pieces from fixtures to assist in fitting and welding.
• Use various tools to make small adjustments to the tube’s length, bend angle, and/or angle of fittings, such as a Vice, Adjustable Wrench, Pin, Block, and/or Hammer.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, method sheets, process sheets, policies and procedures to manufacture a variety of rigid metal tubes.
• Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, fixtures, and work in process by hand or truck.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
