Overview:
The Plant Manager is responsible for the operation of the Little Falls production facility. The position has a large and diverse set of responsibilities including leadership and vision for the production unit, quality management, maintenance, EHS, sustainability, cost management and customer service. The Plant Manager is responsible for a 24/7 manufacturing site. Compensation to be commensurate with qualifications.
What you’ll do:
· Review individual department results to ensure overall cost, quality and EH&S objectives are met.
· Develops goals, plans, and strategies in conjunction with others that will produce results needed to drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality and sustainability.
· Collaborate with others to meet customer objectives, and co-lead customer and regulatory audits.
· Initiate, approve, and guide the design and management of local and corporate engineering projects.
· Review monthly operating statements to ensure plant performance meets profit objectives and analyze data to develop improvement strategies for the location.
· Collaborate with the facility production staff to ensure orders are completed on time.
· Assist in implementing process improvements to meet plant, customer, and corporate objectives.
· Drive the site toward an injury free workplace through adherence to safety procedures and fostering personal accountability from each team member.
· Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
· Position assumes full managerial responsibility for multiple departments and direct reports.
· This position fosters an on-going, effective relationship with the community and maintains the company’s position as a community leader.
