Channel Sales Manager manages a team of channel sales representatives to achieve sales and profit goals by selling goods and services through resellers/channels. Identifies and approaches key or strategic partners and sets short- and long-term channel strategies. Being a Channel Sales Manager recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent or in a related area. Additionally, Channel Sales Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Channel Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.   • The Production Manager is responsible for managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing, maintenance, quality, sanitation, processing, and packaging.
     
     
    DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
    Ø Plan, organize, direct, and run optimize day-to-day operations to exceed yields, delivery, and efficiencies. 
    Ø Increase production efficiency, asset capacity and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining high quality standards.
    Ø Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time delivery
    Ø Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
    Ø Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
    Ø Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions.
    Ø Collect and analyze data to improve operations and eliminate waste.
    Ø Develop and support a strong Safety culture.
    Ø Maintain and support systems and processes that track and optimize performance metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
    Ø Address employees’ issues by coaching, training, and guiding the supervisors.
    Ø Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.
    Ø Drive a continuous improvement culture.
     
     
    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
    v BA/BS degree required; preferred in Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business
    v  5-7 years' experience in Operations Management in a manufacturing setting.
    v  Food manufacturing industry experience is preferred (not required).
    v Experience being a change agent with experience in implementation of Lean principles as they apply to manufacturing operations.
    v Ability to apply structured problem-solving methodologies to determine root cause of problems and provide effective countermeasures.
    v Excellent communication skills
    v  Advanced excel skills.
