    Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Protocol Support Specialist to assist with all aspects of protocol and event planning. The position is located within the Staff of Combined Force Space Component Command (CFSCC) Organization. This position is based out of Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide event planning, management, and protocol support.
    • Provide protocol guidance and information.
    • Refine and extend current and relevant knowledge of guidelines relating to protocol in DoD, United States Government, and Foreign Government organizations.
    • Take assigned actions to help assure necessary services are provided in order to facilitate events, and facilitate participants’ attendance at the events.
    • Contact colleagues representing CFSCC’s external partners and prospective mission partners to provide and obtain information required to successfully support upcoming interactions.
    • Accurately record and convey information to the CFSCC staff.
    • Respond to requests for information regarding well-established standards and processes.

    Qualifications

    • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
    • Bachelor's degree is required.
    • Experience in supporting protocol activities and headquarters staff operations is required.
    • Prior protocol/military/civilian/ First Sergeant or Group/Command Chief background preferred and familiarity working within or supporting the front office or staff of any of the following organizations: Space Delta-5, (previously known as the 614 Air Operations Center), Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC), Joint Space Force Component Command (JFSCC), Combined Force Space Component Command (CFSCC), 30th Space Wing, Space Launch Delta 30 (SLD 30), Headquarters 14th Air Force (14 AF), 614th Air and Space Communications Squadron (614 ACOMS), 9th Combat Operations Squadron (9 COS), 18th Space Control Squadron (18 SPCS), National Space Defense Center (NSDC), Space Systems Command (previously known as the Space and Missile Systems Center), Headquarters Air Force Space Command (HQ AFSPC), United States Space Command (USSPACECOM), Space Operations Command (SPOC), or a similar military mission is highly desired. 
    • Outstanding attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
    • Must be able to work proactively and adjust workloads, priorities, and taskings as necessary to meet requirements and suspenses. 
    • Will be required to interface with, advise, and brief senior military leaders and civilian clients on a regular basis.
    • Candidate will interface with active duty military personnel and government civilians daily. 
    • Prior experience supporting staff activities is highly desired.
