Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant assists an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients who may have developmental, physical and emotional impairments or who are recovering from injury. Prepares adaptive equipment used during treatment and supports patient activities. Being a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant documents therapeutic activities and details of patients progress. Requires an associate degree. Additionally, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant requires NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification. Typically reports to an occupational therapist. Current Pennsylvania license with biennial renewal or recent graduate prepared to sit for State Boards
Daylight: 7am – 3:30pm/8am-4:30pm
Inpatient/Skilled Nursing Unit experience preferred
