JOB SUMMARY
The Certified Nursing Assistant for our Intensive Care Unit is an essential member of the patient care team who contributes to the well-being and comfort of patients during their stay by providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the registered nurse. The CNA will be responsible for assisting with personal hygiene, including: bathing, dressing, oral care, hair care, shaving and other activities of daily living. They will help the RN with performing vitals, providing post-op care, ambulation, mobility and positioning. As part of an interdisciplinary team, they will actively participate in establishing plans of care.
