Certified Nursing Assistant - Occupational Health performs various direct patient care activities in an occupational or industrial health setting, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant - Occupational Health aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Documents patient interactions as needed. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant - Occupational Health requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. Requires certified nursing assistant (CNA). Requires license from state. Certified Nursing Assistant - Occupational Health's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Responsibilities
As a CNA, you will care for guests under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. Some responsibilities include:
- Take and record vital signs
- Measure and record height and weight, intake and output
- Care for the guests’ environment
- Assist with bathing, grooming and toileting
- Assist with eating and hydration
- Observe guests’ skin when administering care and reports changes to licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed
- Meet guests’ mental health and social service needs
Qualifications
- High school graduate/GED
- CNA certification
