Duties:

• Provides residents with direct personal care.
• Respects and upholds residents' rights in all respects, including the confidentiality of resident information.
• Keeps written notes and reports to the charge nurse on pertinent resident information in the resident's permanent record.
  
• Maintains vigilance and care for dying residents, as well as assisting the resident and their families in dealing with death and the dying process.
• Responsible for residents' transportation, which necessitates the physical act of pushing and/or dragging a variety of chairs weighing up to 30 pounds on an ongoing basis.

To qualify:

• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Skills in time management and organization.
• Must be dependable, trustworthy, and efficient.
• Ideal to have a sensitive and caring nature.
• Successfully complete a criminal background check and a drug test.
• Ability to make sound decisions while being calm is necessary for a variety of situations.
