Assists patients in dressing, undressing, bathing, eating, walking, and other activities. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care provides support and companionship to patients. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care helps patients take medications. Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Maintains documents and records related to patient care. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Requires State License. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for a long-term care nursing and rehabilitation center located in East/Central Pennsylvania.
Candidates will be responsible for assisting with the managing the overall nursing department operation, including budget control, recruitment, retention, quality of care and regulatory standard compliance. Individuals must be team players with proven leadership skills, have 3-5 years of progressive long term care experience, possess excellent verbal/written communication skills, and have a stable work history. Prior ADON experience is a preferred. We offer an excellent compensation package.
