Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care performs various direct patient care activities in a long-term care environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists patients in dressing, undressing, bathing, eating, walking, and other activities. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care provides support and companionship to patients. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care helps patients take medications. Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Maintains documents and records related to patient care. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Requires State License. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Position Highlights:
• A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides assistance with activities of daily living to long term care residents. This includes assisting with eating, bathing, transferring and toilet hygiene. Our C.N.A.’s are also trained in the areas of activities, dietary, housekeeping, and laundry.
• As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) gain hands-on experience in care working alongside nurses and other professionals who are passionate about creating a positive impact.

Job Summary

Education/Certification and/or Experience
• Must be 16 years of age.
• MN C.N.A. certification required within 120 days of hire.
• TMA preferred.
Work Schedule
• Night Shift, 10-6am, e/o wknd/hol; 32hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
• $18.25 - $24.00 per hour
