Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice jobs in Delaware
Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice performs various direct patient care activities for terminally ill patients in a hospice environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists patients in dressing, undressing, bathing, eating, walking, and other activities. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice ensures patients' safety, well-being, and comfort. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice helps patients take medications. Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Maintains documents and records related to patient care. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. Communicates with patients, their families, and other care providers. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Requires State License. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Full-Time and Part-Time 3PM-11PM and 11pm-7AM EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
Responsibilities: (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant- Perform ADLs such as bathing, dressing, serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, positioning, etc.
- Maintain clean living conditions for residents.
- Ensure all reports and records are completed in a timely manner.
- Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by Unit Manager, Director of Nursing and Administrator.
Qualifications: (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 18yrs of age or older
- Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- Computer knowledge.
- Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required.
License:
- Must have an Active CNA certification.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
