UT Regional One Health is currently seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife for its expanding practice.
JOB SUMMARY: This nurse midwife position provides full scope midwifery care along with a group of dedicated nurse midwives in collaboration with supportive physician colleagues. This position is in a Level III Obstetrical Unit in partnership with an academic health science center. The nurse midwifery service provides care for obstetrical and gynecologic patients in three clinics and provides full scope, 24/7 midwifery care for patients in labor. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nurse midwifery school/program.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years experienced as a Certified Nurse Midwife preferred. New Graduates considered.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION: Registered Nurse licensure and certification as an advanced practice nurse midwife in the state of Tennessee. Current certification in the AMBC program mandatory.

This position is located in the heart of Bluff City. Memphis is a diverse, eclectic city with great food, great music, and a great sense of community. This position will join six full-time and two part-time midwives in the only hospital-based midwifery practice in Memphis. You will be part of growing and expanding midwifery in west Tennessee with a group of clinicians passionate about supporting women and their choices on how they give birth.
