Additionally, Certified Medication Technician takes vital signs and observes patient to detect response to medication. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. Primary responsibilities can include monitoring and assisting with patient medication , maintaining a stable environment for clients at all times, coordinating treatment sessions, administering routine urine drug screenings/breath tests, and an overall commitment to their recovery journey.
Additional duties include: assisting RC, supervising residents, enforcing treatment center policies, driving facility van, accompanying residents to outings (including 12-step meetings), facilitating community groups and documenting daily activity.
