Certified EHR Trainer jobs in Westland, MI
Certified EHR Trainer conducts technical training programs for end users of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Determines training objectives and creates lesson plans and other materials needed for training. Being a Certified EHR Trainer configures the training environment to ensure end-users can practice using EHR software both inside and outside of the classroom. Designs and delivers new hire training and ongoing user training during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, Certified EHR Trainer may be responsible for implementing a credentialed trainer program that ensures EHR instructors have the required level of system knowledge to effectively deliver training. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Epic/Cerner or similar certification. The Certified EHR Trainer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. A minimum of one nationally recognized personal trainer certification (ACSM, ACE, AFAA, ISSA, NASM, NESTA, NETA, NPTI, NSCA, W.I.T.S) is required. Must have knowledge of physical fitness, kinesiology and physiology as it relates to strength training and overall health and wellness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Abilities & Skills Motivate and encourage clients through positive words while training. Educate a wide range of clients of all ages based on their fitness capabilities. Able to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Able to work with clients who may need specialized attention due to previous injuries or health problems.
