Description
Works independently to provide occupational therapy evaluations and therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician, consistent with hospital policies and procedures, standards of practice, and regulations as directed by the Rehab Director of Iredell Memorial Hospital. Develops and administers occupational therapy treatment programs to facilitate rehabilitation of physically disabled patients and to maximize function and independence. Has full access to patient health information.
Requirements
Currently licensure in NC as an Occupational Therapist or state licensure examination eligible
CPR certification required. If not currently certified must complete upon hire.
Successful completion of a competency based orientation which includes age and population specific skills for the area of practice in which the OTR will be working, and addresses the growth and development needs for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
