Job Description

Capitol View is looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) in All of Washington, DC area. Occupational therapists (OT) perform therapeutic exercises and instruct in activities such as meal preparation, toileting, and grooming in a home health setting. Occupational Therapist also assists with energy and endurance problems, and address equipment needs such as grab bars.

• Evaluate the physical conditions and limitations of the patient.
• Implement a plan of care for the patient.
• Communicates plan of care to referring physicians and other organization professionals.
• Interact and advise the patient and any family members about treatment.
• Instruct patients in the use of various types of adaptive equipment to improve function.

Education Required:

• Current license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Washington, DC

Experience:

• Home health experience is a plus.
• Excellent clinical and assessment skills.
• Solid work history with demonstrated longevity in the workplace
