Being a Ceramics Engineer, Sr. researches and selects the appropriate hand and power tools to be used in the production process. Tests finished ceramics to ensure quality, consistency, and durability standards have been met according to specifications. Additionally, Ceramics Engineer, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Ceramics Engineer, Sr. typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Indian & Forest Acres Camp, a premier brother/sister sleep-away camp in the White Mountains of Maine, (3 hours outside Boston, 1 hour outside of Portland, ME) is currently looking for qualified Ceramics Instructors. We are interested in hiring an individual who can instruct and guide campers in creating artistic pieces using clay and other materials. Counselors also live in a cabin with campers.
