Ceramics Engineer jobs in Ohio

Ceramics Engineer develops manufacturing processes and equipment for converting ceramics into useful products. Tests various combinations of materials to create ceramics that that are durable and economical. Being a Ceramics Engineer researches and selects the appropriate hand and power tools to be used in the production process. Tests finished ceramics to ensure quality, consistency, and durability standards have been met according to specifications. Additionally, Ceramics Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Ceramics Engineer typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.   • Slagle-Kiser is looking for an emotionally and mentally mature individual with good reasoning skills who is able to maintain a positive working relationship with other employees, can accept constructive feedback and can adhere to a work schedule including prompt and regular attendance. We are hiring for an entry-level position with duties that include:

    - Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
    - Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system
    - Schedule custom shade appointments
    - Perform data entry and order entry tasks accurately and efficiently
    - Maintain office supplies inventory
    - Scan lab slips into lab management software
    - Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

    Requirements:
    - High school diploma or equivalent
    - Proficient in computer applications
    - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
    - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
    - Ability to handle multiple phone lines and direct calls appropriately

    Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with an hour lunch. Fun, fast-paced environment with a well-established company offering fantastic benefits. Please respond with resume for consideration.
