Resource Engineering & Hospitality (REH) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to Texas. REH's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

Providence is calling a Central Supply Distribution Technician: Surgical Services / Implants who will:

• Be responsible for the oversight of all functions related to Surgical Services / Implants materials acquisition, certain capital equipment, new product introduction, inventory control, item file maintenance
• Be the primary interface with healthcare representative
• Be responsible for the coordination of Surgical Services / Implants materials for the Portland Service Area with work in the Oregon region as necessary

Please note the following important details regarding this role:

• This role is an in-hospital position and will report into the hospital daily as scheduled
• Work Schedule Includes: Weekdays
• Work Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm -OR- 7:00am - 3:30pm

Required qualifications for this position include:

• 1 years material management related experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Supervisory Experience
• 2 years of healthcare related experience
• Experience with Genesis Procurement
• Experience with Lawson Procurement

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
