J&M Flooring is seeking full-time experienced Tile Setters to join our growing team! We are looking for dependable, motivated candidates who can take direction, work with little supervision, and exceed goals. This position consists of prepping for tile, installation of new tile and the grouting process. This position reports to the Project Manager. This is a full-time position which requires some travel and is mostly overnight shifts.
Tile Setter Responsibilities and Duties:
· Effective and regular communication with on-site personnel and project manager
· Making sure floor preparation meets manufactures recommendation
· Ensuring work quality meets company and customers’ expectations
· Responsible for all equipment and materials
Tile Setter Qualifications and Skills:
· Minimum 2 years of experience
· Ability to prioritize work to meet established deadlines
· Must have a positive attitude and flexible schedule
· Applicants must be able to do physical work and be able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often
· Able to safely work with a wide variety of equipment
· Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
