Catering Sales Manager - Casino jobs in Maryland

To generate profitable sales, growth opportunities, and valued partnerships with clients, vendors, venues, and our community, through a knowledgeable and upbeat team-oriented sales group. This position works with our team of seasoned Account Executives and reports directly to the President / CEO and is subject to change at any time.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve the company’s annual budget goals
• Lead weekly or biweekly sales forums to encourage and inspire sales ideas, hone techniques, and expand knowledge as well as relay company initiatives and new developments
• Work with the sales administrators, accounting, and owners to understand fluid pricing dynamics to enable our seasoned sales team to achieve the targeted level of profitability
• Create guidelines for consistent proposals that represent our brand
• Assists with overall marketing strategy to maximize effectiveness such as social media, showcases and client reviews
• Proactively solicits multiple sources and leads for new events, partners, and venues
• Negotiates contracts with vendors for a variety of goods and services related to events planning
• Responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan in order to attract new clients and maintain a pipeline of existing and prospective clients in order to achieve the Companies annual budget goals
• Create guidelines for consistent proposals, collateral and presentations that represent our high quality brand
• Proactively solicit multiple sources and leads for new events, partners and venues. Develop networking, warm and cold call program
• Negotiate contracts with venues and vendors for a variety of goods and services related to events
• Manage and oversee all aspects of catering operations, including planning, organizing, and executing events
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to identify new market opportunities

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, account management, and business development within the catering or hospitality industry
• Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Knowledge of catering operations, including menu planning, food safety regulations, and event logistics
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail to ensure seamless event execution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
