    What we re looking for:

    The Senior Catering Sales Manager will serve as primary point of contact for offsite event sales, outreach and will oversee execution of catering events working in tandem with the culinary team to provide one of a kind experiences with a focus on culinary creativity and seamless service within a profitable budget. Responsibilities include but are not limited to strategic sales pipeline development, maintenance of guest experience with sales and satisfaction measurements, event planning and detailing for catered events. As the Senior Sales Manager, this individual will develop and mentor the sales and production team and implement systems to streamline the booking and execution processes.

    What you'll do:

    • Main point of contact for guests seeking to book offsite events, actively seeking new business to meet or exceed monthly sales goals, ensuring prompt response to all inquiries within 48 hours
    • Build menus, beverage inventory and rental inventory into catering software.
    • Accurately write catering proposals, contracts, and event orders to ensure seamless service and client satisfaction
    • Create and distribute detailed Banquet Event Orders for each event, exercising a thorough understanding of menu and pricing
    • Conduct weekly BEO meetings with Catering team to review upcoming events
    • Together with Event Producer, responsible for proper execution of all offsite events from setup and service to tear down
    • Work with the operations team for the maintenance and inventory of in-house catering supplies, decorations and equipment.
    • Manage outsourced vendor services, including placing/confirming orders, communicating event details, directing on-site, and processing invoices.
    • Schedule site tours with venues to gain understanding of setup needs and execute accordingly. Assist with determining floorplans/layouts to ensure proper flow and ease of service.
    • Follow up with clients post-event and obtain event feedback.
    • Execute and report on monthly goals set in partnership with Director of Catering and Events.
    • Prepare sales materials, menus and training materials needed to set up and maintain the catering program. This includes building out menus, inventory lists, and contracts into catering software. Schedule and execute tastings as needed.
    • Partner with Operations and Service Departments to ensure events are prepared for and executed correctly.
    • Lead development of event pricing structure and manage/update all sales and event menus on a regular basis
    • Assess results regularly and creatively brainstorm new cost-effective programs to generate awareness and trial among target audience segments
    • Based on analysis, suggest, and implement changes to optimize results to align with goals
    • Clearly define guest expectations, anticipate needs, and ask questions to ensure a positive experience
    • Participate in staff recruitment, training, mentorship & development, and morale.
    Requirements:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role strong preference for candidates who have worked in off-premise catering.
    • Strong management skills with a focus on customer experience.
    • Solution-oriented, creative, and able to work independently.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Results-oriented and entrepreneurial-minded.
    • Proficient in MS Office, Google applications, Catering and CRM software. TPP experience is a plus.
    • Local travel is required.
    • Flexibility to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
