    To be successful as a Private Club Bar Manager you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. You should be someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how to support our guests.

    This will be for a new location, at one of our clients’ offices. This will be a high-end service, steakhouse inspired location. The hours will be Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm, you will have weekends off but sometimes needed depending on clients’ needs or private parties.

    COMPENSATION: $75,000.00 Salary

    Private Club Bar Manager Responsibilities:

    • Work in partnership with the General Manager to execute the smooth and flawless operation of the establishment.
    • Drive cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative and seasonally accurate cocktails are available on the menu.
    • Taking food and beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail and in a timely manner.
    • Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere, providing the highest quality of customer service.
    • Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences.
    • Mix traditional and creative cocktails.
    • Cash management and tip out tracking.
    • Manage food/beverage cost, cash management, ordering, and maintain inventory.
    • Keeping a well-stocked and organized bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, garnishes, and other accessories.
    • Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment.
    • Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behavior.
    • Ensure all health code and TABC regulations are being followed.
    • Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.

    Private Club Bar Manager Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:

    • Previous experience as a bartender in a luxury establishment (Minimum of 4 years)
    • Previous management experience (Minimum 3 years)
    • Creativity in developing drinks and extensive knowledge of drinks, recipes, mixology and garnishing.
    • Have strong knowledge of health code, TABC regulations, computer/POS operations and time management.
    • Positive attitude, personable demeanor.
    • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (Kegs).
    • Strong communication, multitasking, and observational skills; Conflict resolution, computer literacy, and attention to detail.
    • Relevant training certifications (TABC and Food Management Certification).
    • Authorized to work in the United States.
