Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and manage our company's logistics operations. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods, ensuring efficient supply chain processes, and managing the overall logistics team.
Position:
The Logistics/Warehouse Manager is vital part of the Operations team. They are responsible for communication with production team and sales team to ensure that they have all necessary information to direct logistics for successful events
Essential functions, listed below, may vary by events and business needs and progress over time:
Production:
· Create tasks/team assignments and guide logistics team to accuracy and efficiency
· Providing hands-on assistance as necessary to assure accurate pull lists and production packing
· To create packing and loading/unloading plans via spreadsheet, monitor for accuracy and improvements
· Oversee the management of warehouse/logistics and porter teams
· Establish and maintain relationships with internal team members and external partners
· Ensure all equipment is clean and organized and that
· Must be available Saturdays and Sundays Commissary and/or Events
Logistics Team Staffing/Scheduling
· Execute staffing in Nowsta and communicate when extra staff is needed
· Recruit and Hire team members as needed
Qualifications:
· Extremely organized and must have the ability to transmit said organization into systems
· Willingness to develop extensive knowledge of event needs, display and all set ups
· Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to Employees, the Management Team, and Coworkers
· Bilingual is a plus
