Position Summary: The Catering Sales Manager at City Barbeque is responsible for sales development and coordination of all regional catering and outside sales events.
Reports to: Regional Catering Director
Compensation
· Position will include a base pay (55k) plus commission 3.5% of direct sales on all food/beverage generated by the catering sales manager within a designated territory (UNCAPPED!)
Key Responsibilities:
· Direct Sales & business development: Creates a targeted game plan for increasing Regional Catering Sales with weddings and corporate event within a designated territory.
· Contact Management: Manages and communicates client info and ordering process thru the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
· Ordering Logistics: Manages the catering order process from customer to Catering Operations Manager to the catering joint
Qualifications
· Solid knowledge of local area is essential
· Thorough experience with sales/negotiation/closing process
· Must possess excellent communication skills both internally and externally
· Polished and professional in demeanor and presentation with great attention to detail and the ability to react very quickly in a very fast paced and exciting dynamic environment
· Talented, passionate, knowledge of food in restaurant & catering industry experience
· Client focused with excellent customer service
