Catering Event Manager (Downtown Omaha)

Catering Creations has an opening for an Entry Level Catering Event Manager for an Award Winning Off-Premise Catering Company. Candidate will set up/work at catering events and assist in planning events in a fun and challenging environment.
Event Duties (approx. 70% of the job) include: Setting up and working on and off premise catering from event start to end. Leading event staff by example and through respectful and efficient task delegation. Working directly with Clients. Lifting, loading, carrying, and bussing.
Office Duties (approx. 30% of the job) include: Logistics planning for events. Assisting with Event Production and utilizing your creative side with equipment and decor for buffet/event setup.
Required: Catering or Restaurant Experience preferred. Experience working with Word, Outlook and Explorer. Organizational Skills/Detail Oriented/ Customer Service Experience/Upbeat and Positive Personality/Ability to Multi-task in an Ever Changing Environment/Efficient Time Management/Ability to handle last minute changes/Valid Driver's License/Ability to lift 30 lbs. Some management experience beneficial, but not required.
