Director of Catering
Position Summary:
The Director of Catering will promote the club's dining facilities for private banquets, business and social meetings and other member-related activities. The Director develops agreements and oversees all administrative and operational aspects of preparing and executing events. The Director works with banquet and other departments to ensure that the members’ and guests’ expectations are exceeded.
Essential Responsibilities:

· Arranging and maintaining the Master Calendar and Communication of the calendar between members, all departments, and management regarding conflicts, changes, etc.
· Oversee all Private Parties/Member Functions/Outside Events/ Internal events
· Assist in planning all arrangements required for member functions (Golf, Racquets, Cardplay, Membership, etc.)
· Initial contact for members regarding private function scheduling
· Creating menus for individual functions
· Assist members in all phases of party planning (vendors, décor, rental equipment, etc.)
· Liaison between vendors and members regarding any private party
· Responsible for arranging and distributing all the necessary information to the Executive Chef, Pastry Chef, Garde Manger, Director of Purchasing, Director of Food and Beverage, Banquet Department, etc.
· Responsible for all private party billing
· Assist Food and Beverage department with the execution of member events, when required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
