Job Title: Catering Server

Join our team at The Pantry Catering, an off-premises food catering company in Baltimore, Maryland, is currently seeking motivated and skilled servers to join our team. We're looking for candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional service and willing to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive punctually at events with a continued mindset of learning and growth.
• Prepare and break down event spaces, managing various tasks such as unloading/loading catering vehicles, arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a professional manner and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing friendly and efficient service.
• Additional responsibilities related to customer service or event coordination may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service preferred but not required; we are looking for candidates with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and assist with loading/unloading the catering vehicle.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively and positively in a team environment and receive constructive criticism.

Pay Rate: Starting pay rate is $20 per hour, as well as possibility event gratuities, and opportunities for further growth.

Working Hours and Schedule: Catering schedules are unpredictable and can vary greatly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The catering company or event planner will communicate the specific schedule to servers before the event. Flexibility is highly valued in this position.
