We're hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll:

• Purchase goods and services on the basis of “best value.”
• Ensure that purchasing practices comply with the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act and the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
• Process requisitions and purchase orders for MotorCity departments.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for adherence to company policy.
• Assist the Director and Manager of Purchasing in negotiating contracts and formulating vendor policies.
• Source potential vendors to meet business needs.
• Manages the vendor bidding process.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Minimum two years previous purchasing experience in a medium to large company, or a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Computer skills a must, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Organized with the ability to multi-task.
