BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY The Category Management Professional 2, under general supervision, performs moderately complex tasks relating to the management of an assigned category or categories within the company's Category Management function. Provides support in managing specific groupings of goods & services, including identifying leveraged sourcing opportunities, analyzing market intelligence, contract management, supplier relationship and performance management. The role requires a blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, and strategic thinking to ensure the efficient and cost-effective procurement of PVF materials.
EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or in other applicable field; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE Requires a minimum of 3 years of supply chain or other related experience; industry experience preferred
