    PeopleTec is currently seeking a Management Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):  Serve as a Management Analyst for the Concepts and Analysis Division of the Technical Center, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. Primary responsibilities in support of division include: 

     

    • Responsible for assisting division chief with assessing, preparing, and providing mission short- and long-range goals, mission and personnel calendars, objectives, and initiatives to be presented to senior leadership.
    • Organize, attend, and participate in organizational staff calls, stand-ups, and division tag-ups, working groups, ad hoc, IPTs or similar venues; assess action items from meetings and engage in the resolution process; and propose responses to inquiries based on actions assigned. Prepare notes or after-action summaries, track actions items, and make recommendations on response for closure.
    • Maintain internal task tracker, assign tasks to appropriate team members, Track to completion. 
    • Assist with daily office operations and prioritization of events based on known activities or guidance provided such as synchronization and integration of events and activities for the division through coordination, consolidation, and collaboration of information.
    • Maintain daily and operational calendars for the division.
    • Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings.
    • Create, compose, consolidate, and review documentation, e.g., correspondence, briefings, response to inquiries, and talking points for correctness, format, spelling, and grammar before sending out for approval or signature. 
    • Draft, review and send communications on behalf of Division personnel and leadership.
    • Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to Division Chief.
    • Coordinate the in-processing of government and in-house contractor personnel, to include tracking security clearance approval or verification; access to computer networks and facilities; and assignment of workspace. Coordinate the out-processing of government and in-house contractor personnel.
    • Track mandatory training status of division personnel.
    • Track and ensure required technical software licenses are updated and available for division personnel in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements for personnel utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS), as requested.
    • Assist with special projects where multiple functions are involved, coordinating actions, clarifying responsibilities and timelines for completion, and consolidating data, as necessary, consistently developing and sustaining cooperative working relationships and ensuring visitor authorization requests (VARS) are prepared, when needed.
    • Assist in the efficient operations/administration of the Division. 

    Qualifications

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Previous experience working with and in a constantly changing workforce consisting of engineers and scientists, to include college interns.
    • Previous experience working with and in a constantly changing workforce consisting of engineers and scientists, to include college interns.
    • Experience working internal/external taskers
    • Experience in the development of calendars and tasker/action item/training tracking documentation.
    • Experience serving and managing mission/information demands of Army leaders and management.
    • Some exposure to arranging travel utilizing DTS
    • Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and 365
    • Travel: 5%
    • Must be a US Citizen
    • An active DoD TOP Secret clearance is required to perform this work.  Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
