Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Management Client Account Lead to join our team in Southern, CA In this role, your primary focus will be to act as the main point of contact and relationship manager for our valued client in water and wastewater projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of contracted work as a Project Manager, while also serving as a senior leader and mentor to support the growth of our staff in California.
As a key contributor to AECOM's overall success, we are looking for someone who embodies our "glo-cal" mindset. This means having a strong local focus on client satisfaction, while also seizing opportunities to contribute to projects on a global scale. What makes this role particularly exciting is the chance to combine elements of business development and project management, serving as a true seller/doer leader for a major client in California. Given the significance of this client to AECOM, this position offers high internal visibility.
Furthermore, this role presents excellent prospects for career advancement within AECOM. As you demonstrate your capabilities, you will have the opportunity to take on additional leadership responsibilities within our global organization. It is important to note that regular and frequent interaction with our clients is crucial. We expect the successful candidate to be present and visible, meeting face-to-face with the client several days a week until a solid relationship is established.
To excel in this position, we are seeking a client-oriented leader who can engage with the client to truly understand their needs. Additionally, your strong technical and project management experience will enable you to provide effective oversight and ensure the successful delivery of our services. This role goes beyond traditional project management responsibilities due to the size and importance of the San Diego client, so we are looking for someone who can handle this larger responsibility with confidence and expertise.
Duties include but are not limited to
Plans, directs , and supervises all operations included in moderately sized projects with moderate risk, complexity, and financial impact.
Manages and leads all technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using consistent processes and tools.
May include management of small teams across business lines, in remote locations, and/or management of subcontractors.
Manages projects on a local to regional basis achieving quality outcomes, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
Successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and executes projects.
Acts as primary point of contact with clients.

Exempt The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is $142,000-$261,000/annually
