    As a Management Analyst, you will:

    • Plan, organize, lead and conduct projects, studies, and analyses of considerable scope and depth critical to the resolution of organizational effectiveness issues, including detailed analyses of existing and proposed processes, procedures, organizational structures, staffing, administrative methods, and supervisory and management practices.
    • Analyze and recommend methods for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of programs and procedures through process modification and application of evolving technology.
    • Develop BPA-wide operations, including updates and coordination of existing strategies that support the Chief Workforce and Strategy Office (D) Human Capital Management, Information Technology, Safety, Security & Continuity, Supply Chain and Workplace Services.
    • Guide the development and implementation of business metrics, plans and processes, including those related to established business targets and objectives.
    • Establish criteria for identifying and analyzing trends in activities and in measuring organizational effectiveness in achieving objectives and goals.
    • Lead as a technical expert in committees and working groups for resolving critical problems in existing BPA- and DOE-wide programs requiring innovative solutions.

    Qualifications

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal service.

    Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1) Planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of Project Management; AND 2) Developing and implementing business metrics, plans and processes, including those related to established business targets and objectives; AND 3) Analyzing technical data for the purpose of distilling complex information and presenting recommendations to senior staff members.

    "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
