    Candidate is responsible for precise, safe, proper mixing, controlling, dispensing, preparing, stocking and serving of a variety of beverages, liquors, beers and fine wines as the primary duty with some food service as needed in assigned bar or service area primarily located on the gaming floor in a fast paced entertaining environment.  Service areas may be guest or employee facing based on business need. Candidate must understand that this job requires the ability to verbally communicate, explain and sell all types of beverages to patrons, food and beverage and other staff involved in service to customers by exceeding and anticipating guests’ expectations.  Candidate must maintain accurate records for cashiering and inventory as designated by management.  Candidate will maintain the cleanliness of coolers, bar equipment, glassware, decanters and any other service items associated with casino beverage service and health code requirements.

    • Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to include cash and F&B product handling requirements. 
    •  Greet internal and external guests in a warm tone and smile, with eye contact.

    • Work safely, with sanitation, efficiency, and with guest’s loyalty in mind. 
    • Role model for the company and responds to questions in a positive manner. 
    • Must be detail oriented and ensure that all items are correct, perhaps hundreds of times over. 
    • Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and ensures that assigned area is presentable at all times. 
    • Maintains confidentiality and security of relevant information. 
    • Works with communication devices such as telephones, two-way radio, guest paging system, and other necessary systems as needed. 
    • Interacts and speaks with guests to maintain great guest relations and provide opportunities for loyalty to occur. 
    • Demonstrated record of successful interpersonal skills in regard to working with diverse people and levels of authority. 
    • Multi-task ability and able to complete all tasks with minimal supervision and show a sense of urgency no matter what the business volume. 
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. Shows dignity, kindness and respect to guests and Team Members.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

     

    One-year bartending or serving experience or degree from accredited bartender school preferred. Candidate must have proven customer service abilities, excellent communication skills, good grasp of the English language, the ability to operate cash register, (POS system). Candidate must have the knowledge and ability to mix a variety of cocktails. Candidate will have extensive product knowledge of liquor, beer and wine and will be required to continue to expand on that knowledge as determined by management. Hours and shifts will vary according to business needs and will include holidays and weekends. Candidate must keep a positive upbeat demeanor as well as be properly groomed and maintain a professional appearance throughout a shift. All service staffs will be required to learn and be tested on a variety of new products, recipes along with new service and preparation techniques on a regular basis to insure the department is improving as a whole. Candidate must be at least 21 years of age.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. 

     

     

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. 

     

    CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

    Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate applicable licensing.
